Linina Zocchi, a Northwest Native, has always had a special place in her heart for helping others and after a family member's passing she chose the path of nursing. She graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and chose to work in rural Madras, Oregon to get her feet on the ground for a year and then moved back to Portland to continue her work at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cardiology. A move a few years later took her to Mesa, Arizona where she continued working for Banner Health system while going back to school to pursue her Masters Degree in Nursing, with an emphasis in Adult Health as a Nurse Practitioner.
While working for Banner Health, she was given the opportunity to work with an anesthesiologist performing pain injections. When he found out Linina was going back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner, he invited her to tour his new practice facility and consider applying, and the road to pain management was born. She worked at Desert Pain Institute before coming back home to Vancouver in 2005. Ever since, she has worked for Peace Health, 2 years in Longview and the remaining in Vancouver, providing both short term and long term management for patients in acute and chronic pain. She heard great reviews about Dr. Mickel's practice and has been interested in stem cell therapy, so when she heard Dr. Mickel was expanding his practice to include stem cell therapy she was excited to join the team at Integrated Pain Solutions. She appreciates the philosophy of functional and integrative medicine of using the food we eat, exercise and anything natural to help the body heal itself if and when possible.
Linina is married, and has 2 children. She loves to garden, hike, kayak and spend time with her family.
