Follow up Therapy
After your injections we provide a unique blend of structural care and PNT to eliminate pain and help restore function quickly. Pain Neutralization Technique (PNT) is a non-pharmacological, non-invasive technique for pain neutralization developed by Dr. Steven Kaufman. The technique involves gentle tissue manipulation to “turn off” the nerve-based reflexes that perpetuate trigger points and muscle pain.
What is Stem Cell Therapy?
Stem cells go where your body needs them to go and become what your body needs them to be. Stem cell therapy at Integrated Pain Solutions is the administration of umbilical cord stem cells (UCSC) into a patient’s body by a Nurse Practitioner. The cells can be administered through injection or IV infusion to maximize the therapy’s reach.
Before the Therapy:
After your therapy it is important to take care of your body the best you can to avoid or prolong future dysfunction. Our goal at Integrated Pain Solutions is to provide just that, a medically integrated approach to helping you feel the best you can. After Stem Cell Therapy we provide nutritional support, personalized rehab and even offer a medical weight loss program. We will tailor a custom treatment plan to your personal needs to help meet your individual recovery goals.
Before the Therapy:
If possible, stop or reduce all aspirin products, non-steroidals, Vitamin E supplementation, and the use of fish oil at least five days before the therapy.
Be sure to stay hydrated prior to the procedure.
The duration of the therapy is short, simple, and can take between ten to twenty minutes depending on the amount administered and the procedure chosen. This time will include cleaning and prepping the injection points.
If possible, stop or reduce anti-inflammatory medication for at least one to two weeks.
One Month Post-Therapy:
Aggressive stretching, light-weight training; as tolerated by joints.
The pain was definitely a 10, it really affected my day to day activities. (My pain) now I would probably put at a 2, there are some points I don't have any pain at all.
Since I've had my knee Injections 6 weeks ago the part where it hurts where I feel the pain every time I get up and move is 80% gone. I can now walk like a 64 year old woman and soon I expect I'll be walking like a 44 year old woman.
After having the procedure done it was probably about the 5th week before I started to notice a change. I'm already feeling like 90% better.
Within a day or two, much of the inflammation was gone from the joint and the bunion was down to about a quarter of its size.
